Minimal maintenance compared to gas karts. Check chain tension regularly, inspect brake pads for wear, and keep the chain lubricated. The motor and controller are sealed units requiring no maintenance. Store the battery at 50-70% charge if not using the kart for extended periods.

The Hawk V3 Electric comes standard with #428 chain and matching sprocket. This is a robust chain size providing excellent durability and power transfer.
